The following is an excerpt I liked from John Hollands book “Born Knowing”:

…”you’re giving her “memory days” she continued…..John some days come and some days go, “she quickly replied. “People don’t realize that every day is a new beginning and a chance to start over. There are days that people remember forever, while other days simply slip away into their yesterdays and tomorrows. You never know when you’re giving someone a “Memory Day”. It can be an act of kindness, a trip to the country, or something as simple as helping an elderly woman with her groceries. People remember certain days for the rest of their lives”. “We take these memories with us when we pass, she said, “and I do believe that we review our lives with all our faults and accomplishments. Why not have the best memories by our side, and try to give good ones to whomever we can?’
