Not to be macabe or anything, but I like this quote by Orson Wells: “We are born alone, live alone, and die alone. Only through love and friendship can we create the illusion for the moment that we’re not alone” and this one by Mother Theresa: ” The most terrible poverty is lonliness and the feeling of being unloved”. -So if you are feeling lonely, go somewhere you will see people, call or visit a friend or cuddle with your pets. I have posted this video before, but I think it is worth re-posting:

I like to watch this sometimes as a reminder of the good things that can come when you are alone.

This is such an awesome song.

The kind of love I always wanted. They say nobody gets everything. I have come believe that is true. (life is bittersweet). I have had the best types of love with my son, precious animals and family. Despite being too ill to do too much or travel, I have had something else, time, lots of time to do my arts and crafts, (I’m not always well enough to do even that, but usually I can do something from my bed). I have had the freedom of peace without people picking away at me, controlling me , suffocating or being intentionally cruel. Still this song is dreamy and I just love it. Maybe in the next life?

Just have to love the Bee Gees, such a beautiful song (as are most of their songs):

I love alot of the old classic bands, REO Speedwagon, Boston, ABBA, E.L.O., Queen, and Journey, Tom petty, Pink Floyd ,Pretty much anything by Stevie Nicks and/or Fleetwood Mac, Crosby stills ,nash and young, (especially neil young) are just a few that take me back to a different time…plus all the great 1980’s music (cyndi Lauper, psychadelic furs, the Smiths, Rolling Stones, Kate Bush, Stevie Nicks….so many talented and inspired musicians…)

A couple drawings:

just a little twisted humour with this one, I keep having to go for diagnostic mamograms and it has often struck me that the images look a lot like stars in the galaxy…weird, (…I know)
