#Inktober52, Week 28/Prompt: ‘Space’

Thank Goodness for red lipstick and colorful scarves. I seem to never want to bother with eye make-up these days, but the color makes me look a little more alive. I wanted to take a few photos with little doggy, Lucy Liu, (or as I like to jokingly call her ‘Lucifer’). She had other ideas today, like breaking into the bathroom trash. I guess she’s bored. This is the 2nd time I’ve caught her trying to abscond with an empty toothpaste container. I know that can be dangerous for dogs so I may have to re-think my short, easily accessed trash can, or put it in the tall kitchen trash. (It’s apparently far too tempting). I will say one thing for Lucy, she is very good at sneaky stealth. I had no idea what she was up to.
Good. I’m glad this one resigned. I used to think of (Llyod) Donald Trump and Boris Johnson as being a bit like the main characters in the movie ‘Dumb and Dumber’. I think Boris even looks like (‘Harry’)Jeff Bridges character with the crazy-ass hair and dumb facial expressions. I hope to God Donald Trump never gets re-elected, (I really can’t imagine what our country will be like if he is….true nightmare….) Honestly, the Donald should be charged for all kinds of high crimes, including treason…I doubt it will happen though.

I completely forgot about this song. The neighbors are having a huge party and have live entertainment,. The band is awesome and has been playing their music (mostly great 80’s songs) all night long. I don’t mind it being loud. Its like a free concert but I can be alone too in my apartment. I hope they have more parties! Though if I had a migraine now , I’m sure I’d feel differently!
I think I’ll work on this some more. I started it quite a ways back and forgot about it. I kind of like it just as it is…but hopefully adding more detail (as I intended originally) will be a good idea. I do like the contrast though, the shells almost become an abstract pattern.

I’m planning on doing a more detailed/realistic watercolor of the same image, but I like this just as it is. A fairly quick study. I roughly drew it out yesterday and used a little watercolor, pastel pencils and colored pencil. 18×24″.
