#Inktober52, /Week 16, Word Prompt: Blue (finally,I’m caight up on these weekly challenges!)
This was a very quick sketch inspired by Joni Mitchell’s song: ‘The last time I saw Richard”. The lyrics are part of the image.
Some poems I like and wanted to share:
I hope
you see the
light
in every day,
no matter how
small,
and fall in love
with it
even in the dark
-Midara
My breathing is shallow
The air it is thin
The demons are screaming,
I think they might win.
My vision is blurry,
My heart rate is slow,
No therapy can save me,
I think I’m letting go.
-anonymous
We flatter those we scarcely know,
We please the fleeting guest,
And deal full many a thoughtless blow,
To those who love us best.
-Ella Wheeler Wilcox
It’s sad how
things are most beautiful
When they are ending
Flowers when they’re wilting
The leaves in autumn
the sun when its setting
your smile when its fading
-L.T.N.
Believe me, every heart has its secret sorrows,
which the world knows not,
and oftentimes we call a man cold
when he is only sad.
-Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
